I certainly agree with your remarks, and I will add that I love those light bulb moments when the kids grasp something new that they weren't aware of before.
The best thing about being a mom is realizing how God has chosen and entrusted me to raise the children He knew from before the foundations of the world! I feel blessed to have the opportunity to teach my child about Jesus Christ and how special she is to Him!
Truly, realizing the love that I have for my children is only an inkling compared to the love that God has for me (and them!) fills me with hope.
I always "knew" God loved me, but it wasn't until I held my first baby in my arms that I "saw" His love. With each subsequent child I have felt it even more.
Besides that "aha", what I love most is just looking at their faces - big ones and little ones. Pure joy!

Experiencing and witnessing Gods design as he creates and entrusts gifts to this small little person that somehow is a part of me. Love watching my son grow. Love watching him discover and explore and create. We love every part of him.
I know there are many new joys to come, but with one 9 mo old girl, I love most to see her smile/laugh. The pure joy when I return home in the evenings that just radiates from within her! She reminds me, no matter how rough of a day I have had at work, that life is a joyful adventure. Now I know why Jesus wanted us to be like little children, the pure joy of it . . . :-)
