The film was remarkable in its honoring portrayal of marriage. I am so used to seeing struggling marriages in movies lead to plots of fantasizing and adultery, but this one really promotes covenant, unconditional love. My husband and I have a copy of the Love Dare book (a devotional for individuals about marriage) and a Couple's Kit (a Biblical study based on concepts in the movie that couples can do together). Both are excellent, probably the best thing we've done for our marriage this year. I found them at six dollars off the cover price (yay!) at www.fireproofresources.com. Hope this helps!

Wonderful movie! We are also going through the love dare book. This movie is life changing. It really brought to the surface several areas that we need to work on.

Since it seems to me like most bloggers are Stay at Home Moms, I am so glad that I found this site to get in touch with other working Christian moms.

Thanks for all the good reviews of Fireproof. I wonder if I will be able to see it before it leaves the movie theaters. Kelly welcome to the CWM community.

We were able to see Fireproof at a pastor's conference before it was released. I can tell you that in a conference room filled with pastors and their wives, we were dramactically affected by the emotions and truth portrayed on screen. We were affected not only for ourself but also for the people we strive to help in our churches. I have receommended the movie a million times over.
