What do you think is the hardest age for children?

My question is really what is the hardest age for you as a parent with the ages of your children?
I use to think babies and toddlers were hard due to sheer fatigue and how little they can do for themselves. Now, I have a teenager in highschool and I'm up late and chauffering to lots of activities. So, this seems harder. What do you think?

I know without a doubt that the teen years are the most challenging years for parents especially since I gave my parents a run for their money! And let me be the first to tell you that I am not looking forward to those years, because I am so afraid of reaping what I have sewn.

Hey I am with you on this teenage years thing.... I thought once you got the babies so they could sleep through the night you would be free and clear, Boy was I wrong! There is always something to keep a mothers mind going at night...and I hear it only gets more interesting as they get older...
As a mother of "tweens" I can only imagine what is in store for me!!

The physical demands of small children gives way to the emotional demands and occasional turmoil and drama of adolecense. It never gets easier it just changes.
