Let's Laugh
My kids said something the other day that cut me to my core. I laughed about something and they said, "That must be funny, because Mom doesn't laugh much." I guess I'm way to serious about getting things done around the house. So, let's share any good jokes you have or funny things your kids have said. Let's enjoy laughing with one another.

Rahfan,
Love that story. I was laughing out loud. Thanks for sharing.
I was in the library yesterday with my boys, ages 2 and 4. My 4 year old wanted to play on the computer while my 2 year old and I were looking at books. I told him we needed to stay together so that I could watch them both since there was only one of me and there were two of them. His reply: But Mommy, you have two eyes! - Laurie
I have a funny story. At church yesterday, when we were getting ready to leave, my daughter asked if she could go play in the gym (The fellowship hall in the back of the church). When I told her No, she said please Mommy, I'll only be an hour. I thought that was hysterical!
I assume she meant to say a minute, but when you're 4 yrs old, I guess you get those things mixed up :)

Love these stories. Keep them coming. Laurie, I wonder if your son also mentioned the two eyes in the back of every mother's head, to always see what is going on. Lisa sounds like your daughter is all ready an expert at negotiating, ONLY. That is so cute.
The other day I found my two year old sitting at our computer, typing on the keyboard. When I asked him what he was doing, he matter of factly told me he was checking his e-mail. Made me laugh and sigh, because I spend too much time on the computer at home.
Guilty as charged Michelle, I'm right there with you.
I enjoy how my 10 month daughter finds it pure joy to watch our fat cat jump down from a ledge right in front of her. She shrieks with glee everytime and she never fails to make me laugh too.
Last night my husband went out for a while, so I was telling my 4 year old that I was going to be in the bathroom taking a shower, and then coloring my hair so she would know where I was. Then she put her hand up to the top of her head and started swirling it around. Then she asked me with a straight face if I was going to use a crayon to color my hair.
I thought that was so funny!!

Lisa,
Thanks for sharing. If only it was that easy!!! I would be "coloring" every day.
