How's your weather?

I live in the Southeastern United States and we just had a sleet, ice storm. Thankfully it was no big deal. My children desperately want some snow. I know some people in the US have been without power for days or weeks. Also, I know we have people who live all over the world that are a part of CWM. So how is the weather where you live?

We have had alot of snow in Colorado! It has been frozen for almost a month and a half already! If I knew how I would post some of the pictures!! LOL Today it was -2 on the way to work (7am) but it is up to about 11* now! We should reach 35 today!

I did get to spend 4 days in southeast colorado for new years with my inlaws with NO ELEC!! LOL. It sound like it wouldn't be the best situation, but we did still have water and we had a great time~ We played sharades by candlelight in the evening and dug some snow tunnels in a big drift! Luckily we had 4whl drive so as soon as they opened the highway we were able to get home!

Jenlon,

I remember when we lived in Minnesota it as -30 degrees for two weeks. I was so excited when it got to Zero. I thought boy is this warped when you are happy about zero. Pray for Spring!!

2F. Feels warm, compared to -40 (where it frequently gets down to around here.) Nothing to complain about! Light snow. Wish I could go skiing this weekend! (I don't ski sub-zero....but toddler isn't very ski compatible right now, and hubby is out of town.)

Everyone around here thinks I'm nuts, because I am loving the weather! We haven't had snow like this in so long! Granted it is a little cold...but I keep reminding everyone how wonderful the lakes will look this summer!! LOL

We have gotten used to the cold already because Wed, it hit 35 and we were all running around without coats!! =0)

We had an ice storm weekend before last, and there were massive power outages for most of last week here in rural MO. We had a small snow and sleet storm this weekend, but it did not do near as much damage. Today, it is just cold and windy. I'm ready for spring. I'm a person who is cold all of the time anyway, so winter is VERY uncomfortable for me.

Melmj,

Boy, do I understand being cold. I don't like it either. I have to admit I don't like hot summers either. Spring and fall are good. I guess I'm too picky.

Hello ladies~ Just thought I'd give you an update on Denver~ We hit a new record LOW for the day. -18* Happy Ground Hog Day!

I know this is nothing compared to cheryle's -40, but it is pretty unheard of for our area! LOL
