As we come upon the Thanksgiving holiday in the United States we focus on being thankful. How do you teach your children to be thankful? I truly think it is a learned habit and does not come naturally. Looking forward to see what you have to share.

Halloween

This is my annual Halloween post. What does your family do about Halloween? Do you have a Fall Festival at your church? Do you trick or treat? or do you choose to do nothing? I always look forward to hearing your answers.

Do you feel like the Family's Post it Note?

It seems every day I'm reminding someone in my family to take something to school or make sure something gets done. I do believe I am a Human post it note. No wonder I can't ever remember anything, because too much is in my head for the rest of the family. Am I the only human post it note?

Children, Cell Phones, Texting

As our society becomes more and more tied to cell phones our children think they "need" to have a cell phone. So, here are my questions. Do your children have cell phones? If so, how old were they when they got their first phone? If your child has a phone do they have texting? Have you had problems with your children "sexting" - receiving or sending sexual pictures?
I have found parental peer pressure is just as harsh as teen peer pressure sometimes. As Christian Working Moms is there a difference?
