Funny stories from your children

I thought we would do something fun for a change.  Let's share funny stories from our children's lives.  It could be something they said or did.  We can lighten up our day and realize that God gave us children to remind us to laugh.  Can't wait to hear your stories.

Our son is adopted and, at age 3, is starting to learn his story. One day, he asked me "where do kittens get their food?".
Me: They drink milk from their mommies' tummies.
Son: Like I drank milk from your tummy?
Me: No, unfortunately, mommy couldn't make any milk for you.
Son: So did you drop me off at a farm so I could drink milk from a cow?
Me: That would be a fun idea. No, we gave you milk in a bottle.

Sounds perfectly reasonable for a 3 year old's mind!! Love it, that is so hilarious. Thanks for sharing.

My son was probably 4 when this happened. We live in the country and he was outside with a friend in the spring playing. When all of a sudden I heard crying And screaming. I ran outside to meet him and he was holding his hand. He said a bee stung him. His friend was just looking in shock at him. I said how did a bee sting you on your hand and he yelled out- I was trying to pee on it. It took all I had not to laugh because that hand sting could have turned oh to be oh so much worse. He got Benadryl and hand was iced and he was fine. Only my son.

Hankins Family, I have a son as well. Something about peeing on things and boys takes care of all things. I'm not sure if I could have not laughed. You are a good Mom.

My daughter turns 10 tomorrow. And there have been lots of funny things over the years, but reading the other posts reminds me when she was 4 and just started pre-school.. One day I heard her talking in her room and I went to listen to what it was and I saw she had two teddy bears in her arms sitting on the bed, on each knee. She turned to each one in turn and said “No hitting, K?...No hitting, K?

Another time when she was in the first grade, she was playing school in her room with our 2 cats, and I needed to ask her something, and when I asked her what she was doing she said, we were playing school and it was time for show and tell. I asked if the cats had anything to show. She said Tigger showed the bed, and (the other cat) Chloe showed me when she rubbed up against my leg!” It was sooo funny!!
