Does your church serve baby food or solid food?

A very sad statistic recently came out that between 58-84% of graduating youth from church youth groups are not returning to church. A trend I'm noticing in children and youth programs at churches is the goal is to entertain and have fun. There doesn't seem to be a lot of solid Bible teaching going on. Now I know that is not true in all churches. So, my question to you is does your church still serve baby food or has it graduated to solid food? Do you feel you are getting in-depth study of the word in your own Sunday School class or small group?

I'm Bored

Summer is here, (maybe not officially) because children are getting out of school. I have posted this before, but how do you handle the inevitable "I'm Bored" during the summer. Also, what free or low cost things have you found to do?

Is May busier than December

For all you CWMs who have school age children is May a busier month than December for you? Just this week I have 2 nights with both children having events at the same time in, of course, different places. This month has been crazy!

In honor of Mother's Day coming up, what do you like best about being a Mom? I will start the discussion. I love watching my children excel in the talents God has given them. It is so neat to see them coming into their own personalities.

Is your work place Christian friendly?
