The catalog shows pictures of people in need all over the world, and I had each of the kids pick the gift they wanted to send those people. My son, who was 4 at the time, was astonished that people actually lived in the ramshackle hut that was shown on one of the pages. I also encouragement to search for opportunities to share what they have with others.
