Maybe a pipe dream. Keep up updated.Coach Kimberlyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00745754071595279271noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2663630204513110178.post-52601665920454082552007-01-19T10:34:00.000-08:002007-01-19T10:34:00.000-08:00That's a good idea. I walk at lunch until it's too cold to go outside, but even walking for 30 minutes, enough to work up a light sweat, did nothing to help. I'm going to start up again, I know it always helps some, even if it's so I dont get so winded when I walk longer distances.

Thanks again for letting me ramble! :)

LisaAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2663630204513110178.post-45534379494540701932007-01-19T09:07:00.000-08:002007-01-19T09:07:00.000-08:00Lisa,

I right there with you on the weight loss thing. I did listen to a Tony Evans CD once and he talked about praying daily about what you eat and allowing the Holy Spirit to control your appetite as well. I have been trying that some this new year. I also don't like to exercise, so that doesn't help much. Appreciate you sharing and you are right it is not good to put pressure on ourselves.Coach Kimberlyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00745754071595279271noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2663630204513110178.post-26886600406438897822007-01-19T06:59:00.000-08:002007-01-19T06:59:00.000-08:00I stopped making New Year's Resolutions too. We now have a reliable babysitter that we know that lives near us, so my husband and I will have more dates this year, starting tomorrow! :)
I'm also going to schedule a visit to the dentist (which I havent been to in years) I'm also going to buy a new pair of shoes that I need, and now that my husband is making more money, I can afford it.

This year I'm just going to do little stuff that I've been putting off for a long time. But no official weight loss goals! I've tried for years to loose weight without any success, so I'm not going to that kind of pressure myself anymore.

LisaAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2663630204513110178.post-4819427138450892762007-01-09T19:14:00.000-08:002007-01-09T19:14:00.000-08:00Anonymous, I love your post and you put into words...Anonymous, I love your post and you put into words things I have often thought. God has ordained our days and his resolutions may look very different than ours. Now, I just let the Lord shape me and mold me into the Christian woman/mother/wife that he wants me to be. This is an ongoing process, each year is different. I just let the Lord do his work each year. Its not always smooth sailing, but I just keep going on.
Thank you.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
